Carl Jung believed that a "acausal connecting principle" links mind and matter and he coined the t erm synchronicity to describe what he called a glimpse into the underlying order of the universe. He said this underlying connectedness manifests itself through meaningful coincidences that cannot be explained by cause and effect. I believe this synchronicity helps explain the ability to determine aspects of personality through the study of the stars and their positions in the Universe at the time of birth.
While not being the cause of a person’s actions, beliefs or personality, the positions of the stars can suggest to the fluent astrologer the underlying theme of a person’s life, the challenges that will arise and the gifts that individual brings with them into this lifetime. Charts are an invaluable glimpse into the spirit.
